NIT Durgapur MTech (Sponsored) Admission 2023 Open; Apply till June 13

New Delhi: National Institute of Technology (NIT), Durgapur is inviting applications for admission to its MTech (Sponsored) Program for the academic session 2023-24. The last date to apply for the admission process is June 13, 2023. 

Candidates who wish to apply for MTech (Sponsored) program admission at NIT Durgapur are required to have a bachelor’s degree in the required field (BTech/BE or equivalent) from a recognised university. They must have at least 60% marks in qualifying degree to be eligible.

After the application process, the admission cell will conduct the written test and viva voce for NIT Durgapur MTech Admission 2023 on June 20, 2023. The publication of the list of selected and wait-listed candidates on the website will be done on July 04, 2023.

• Candidates need to have BTech/BE or equivalent qualification in the required stream from a recognised university. 
• They must have secured at least 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 60% marks for Open/OBC categories, whereas 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 55% marks for SC/ST categories.
• Candidates must note that mere eligibility will not ensure a call for admission test and/or viva voce. 
• Depending on the number of applications received and the eligibility, a shortlist shall be prepared for a call for admission test and viva-voce in the respective departments.
• Sponsored candidates must have a minimum of two years of full-time work experience in a Govt./Semi-Govt. or reputed and recognized organization in the relevant field.

Step 1: Visit the official website of the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Durgapur at nitdgp.ac.in.

Step 2: From the homepage, click on the latest NIT Durgapur MTech Admission 2023 link available. 

Step 3: Read the admission notice carefully and download the form from the official website.

Step 4: Fill out the application form and attach a copy of mentioned documents with it.

Step 5: Pay the application fee and submit the form to the Dean (Academic Courses) of NIT Durgapur to complete your application process. 

Step 6: Applicants must also take a printout of the application form for all future needs.

The notice reads, “application form filled up in all respects should be sent as hard copy, along with necessary attachments, to Dean (Academic Courses). The envelope should be super scribed with “Application for MTECH (SPONSORED) Program (2023-2025), Department of <_>”.
