NIT Jalandhar PhD Admission Open for June 2023 Session; Apply till April 17

New Delhi: NIT Jalandhar is inviting applications for admission to its full-time and part-time PhD programme offered by its various departments for June 2023 session. Interested candidates can apply online till April 17, 2023.

NIT Jalandhar is offering a variety of PhD courses in the field of Engineering, Sciences, Humanities, Sports & Health and Management. Applicants Interested in the PhD program can apply at the NIT Jalandhar official portal at nitj.ac.in

To apply for NIT Jalandhar Admission 2023, for engineering & science, candidates must have an Undergraduate followed by a Postgraduate degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Science in the relevant field with a 60% score or 6.5 CGPA. 

Candidates with a BTech/ BE/ BS degree with a CGPA of 8.5 or 80% score from a Centrally Funded Technical Institute, with a valid GATE score, are also eligible.

For English Literature & Linguistics, a postgraduate degree in English/ Linguistics/ English Language Teaching with a minimum of 55% score or a CGPA of 6.0 is a must & for Management a Postgraduate degree in Management/ Commerce with at least a 60% score or a 6.5 CGPA is required.

For Sports & Healthcare, a postgraduate degree in Engineering/ MD in Physiology / A 4-year degree in Medicine/a Master in sports Sciences/ a 3-year Master's degree in Medical Physiology/ Master's degree in exercise physiology is required.

Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of a valid entrance examination score such as GATE/NET (JRF/LS)/ UGC (JRF/LS) /GPAT/ Inspire Fellow followed by a PI Round.
