NLUO PhD Admission 2022-23 (Open); Apply till November 16

New Delhi: National Law University is inviting applications for admission to its PhD Courses. Interested candidates can apply through the official website till November 16, 2022.

"Candidates may apply as full-time candidates if they intend to enrol in the PhD programme at NLUO. The candidate enrolled in a full-time PhD programme must remain in the university for at least 28 months over a minimum of three years. The minimum amount of time needed to do the research for the degree is three years "reads the formal announcement. The university has opened admission to a total of 15 seats in PhD Courses.

According to the official statement, the University may occasionally opt to provide the applicants stipends. There are 15 places available in the PhD programme as a whole.

NLUO PhD Admission 2022: Eligibility Requirement

The requirements for eligibility are as follows:

• • A Master's degree in law from an accredited university with a minimum grade of 55% or its equivalent is required for entrance to the PhD programme.
  • a Bachelor's degree in law and a Master's degree in social science, humanities, management studies, or the sciences from any accredited university with at least 55% of the marks required, or its equivalent, and having passed the UGC's NET/JRF examination.
  • a PhD in any field, or a Master's degree in social sciences, humanities, or management studies from any accredited university with a 55% overall grade point average and at least two years of teaching experience
  • Candidates from SC/ST and Specially Abled Persons (SAP) are eligible for a 5% grade relaxation or an equal grade relaxation.

• Completed Application form
• Three copies of the proposed research topic (10 Pages) of a contemporary issue with the broad frame work of Law & related subjects
• Demand draft of INR 3000 drawn in favour of “Registrar National Law University Odisha”
• Attested photocopies of eligibility qualification certificates and mark sheets
• One set of published papers, monographs, articles and books (if applicable)
• Certificate from the Institution concerned testifying the length of service (if required)
• A passport size photograph
