New Delhi: The deadline for medical colleges to submit the information of students enrolled in the first year of the MBBS programme for the academic session 2022–23 has been extended by the National Medical Commission (NMC) until January 10, 2023. Previously, December 31 was the deadline for colleges to upload student data.

The deadline for uploading the data/details of students enrolled in the first year of the MBBS degree for the academic year 2022–23 is hereby extended until January 10, 2023, as a one-time major (midnight). Therefore, you are once more required to upload online data/details of all students registered for the aforementioned degree by the target date of January 10, 2023, on a priority basis, according to NMC's most recent notification.
According to NMC, a number of colleges were unable to submit the complete data by the deadline of December 31. This is creating problems. However, it was noted that the medical colleges had not yet uploaded all of the data, which made it challenging to track the online data of the aforementioned students.
The National Medical Commission (NMC) Act, 2019 and the Indian Medical Council (IMC) Act, 1956 both have provisions that must be followed when applying for admission and uploading data.
The NMC notice further stated, "In case of any difficulty in accessing the NMC website or in data entry, an email may be sent to support.ugmonitoring@nmc.org.in or contact at our toll free number 1800 11 11 54 (from 9:30 am to 6 pm)." The NMC office would then get back to the caller right away to address the query or problem.
