NMU M.S.W Admission 2022 Open; Last Date to Apply is August 4

New Delhi: NMU has begun the application process for admission to the M.S.W course for the academic year 2022-2023. Candidates can apply online through the official website nmu.ac.in 

NMU is inviting applications for Master of Social Work (M.S.W) wherein candidates have to submit their application form both online and offline. Candidates need to give a Common Entrance Test (CET)  for admission to the course. 

Candidates who have not received their final year mark sheet or certificate of Bachelor’s degree can also apply for the course at NMU . However, they should achieve the minimum eligibility conditions and provide the same at the time of admission. 

Admission to NMU started online on July 15, 2022. Candidates can apply till August 4, 2022. The last date to submit the printed application form along with the DD and required documents is August 5, 2022.

Candidates after giving the written entrance test will be selected for GD and PI rounds. These rounds will take place at ARC School of Social Sciences Kavayatri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon from August 19 to August 20, 2022.

NMU M.S.W Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates can check the eligiblity criteria for admission to the M.S.W course here: 

• Candidates appeared for any Bachelor’s Degree from recognized University. 
• A Bachelor’s Degree of minimum of 3 years duration or its equivalent ( under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+2+1 year bridge course pattern of study or any pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirement of 15 years formal education). 
• The minimum requirement for admission to the M.S.W. degree programme is Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Arts, Science, Commerce, Law, Home Science, or any other faculty or a recognized University with a minimum of 45 % marks. 
• Higher academic degrees or diplomas in Social Sciences and experience of working with people will be an additional qualification.

NMU M.S.W Admission 2022: Selection Process

Candidates will be selected based on their merit in the entrance examination, personal interview, and group discussion rounds. The marks weightage will be 60, 20, and 20 each respectively. Candidates after giving the CET will be shortlisted for PI and GD rounds. After these two rounds, a final merit list will be published and candidates will be called for admission to the institution.

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of KBC NMU at nmu.ac.in

Step 2: Register yourself after filling in the required details, such as Mobile Number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, log in with your registration credentials and fill in all details in the Application form and submit.

Step 4: Applicants must also take a printout of the form for all future needs.

After taking a print out, candidates have to attach the required documents and a demand draft of 600 INR in favour of “The Finance & Accounts Officer, Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon” drawn on Nationalized banks. Forms should be submitted to the ARC (University Department / Social Work Colleges). After submitting the form, candidate should collect the Acknowledgement Receipt Slip from ARC.
