NSIT Delhi M.Tech Admission 2022 Open; Last Date to Apply is May 5

New Delhi: Netaji Subhas University of Technology, Delhi (NSIT) is inviting applications for admission to its M.Tech program for the academic year 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal,http://www.nsit.ac.in/. The last date to apply is May 05, 2022.

NSIT Delhi offers M.Tech programme under 14 specializations and admission to the same is based on GATE entrance scores or a written examination conducted by the Institute for the non-GATE qualifying candidates.

NSIT M.Tech Admission 2022: Highlights 

NSIT Delhi provides its M.Tech programme in both full-time and part-time mode over a two-year period that can be extended in the case of part-time mode. The mode of applying for NSIT M.Tech is online.

NSIT M.Tech Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for taking admission to NSIT for the M.Tech programme are outlined below:

• The candidate must hold a B.E. or B. Tech degree with 60% (55% for reserved category candidates)in the relevant subject.
• Aspirants who have completed the AMIE (India), AMIE (London), and I.E.T.E. (India) examinations or any other test connected to the branch regarded as equal to the B.E. can also apply for the NSIT M. Tech admissions 2022.
• Candidates need to appear GATE/ NSIT written test. 
• Candidates from the SC/ST/PH categories get a 5% mark relaxation or equivalent CGPA.
• If seats in the category of valid GATE score holders remain open after completing all rounds and following the criteria outlined in the Admission Criteria section, it will be filled first by valid GATE score holders.

NSIT M.Tech Admission 2022: Selection Process

The selection process for the M.Tech programme at NSIT is on the following basis:

• Admission to all M. Tech. programmes will be based on a verified GATE score. Valid GATE score holders would be given first priority, followed by those seeking admission under the non-GATE category.
• If any of the seats reserved for AICTE fellowships become empty and there are no legitimate GATE score holders available in that category, the seats are filled by valid GATE score holders.
• Candidates who do not have a valid GATE score need to appear on the NSIT written test.

Candidates interested in admission at NSIT for M.tech can go through the steps mentioned below:

• Visit the official application portal of NSIT at http://www.nsut.ac.in or www.imsnsit.org.
• Register yourself after filling in the required details, such as Mobile Number, Email Id etc.
• Now, log in with your registration credentials and fill in all details in the Application form.
• Pay the application fee of Rs 1000 and submit the Application form. 
• Applicants must also take a printout of the form for all future needs.
