Patna University UG Admission Entrance Test 2022 Postponed; Check Details Here

New Delhi: Patna University has postponed the entrance test dates by 10 days as it is coinciding with the All India entrance tests. The fresh test schedule will be announced in a day or two, according to Anil Kumar, welfare Dean. 

Patna University has received 13,600 applications this year for admission to three years of Bachelor’s course in Sciences, Arts, and Commerce. Last year against 4500 seats around 22,000 students applied for the courses. 

The last date for online submission for Patna University Admission was June 4, 2022. A common entrance test is conducted for admission to conventional courses in arts, science, and commerce. The postponed date of the entrance examination will be announced by the university soon. 

Patna University UG Admission 2022: Dates 

For admission to Patna University Courses, the entrance examination question paper will have 4 groups (A, B, C, and D). Group A consists of 40 marks in General Knowledge and Aptitude and Reasoning. Group B, C, and D will have 60 marks each in Commerce, Science, and Arts respectively. 

Candidates will have to answer all the questions from Group A compulsorily and have to choose questions from the remaining Group B, C, and D. The paper will be MCQ based. A separate entrance examination will be held for self-financing courses. 

Patna University UG Admission 2022: Highlights 

The total number of seats sanctioned in undergraduate courses against which students would be admitted on the basis of their performance in entrance examinations, are Patna College (930), Patna Science College (750), B N College (1130), Magadh Mahila College (1156), and Vanijya Mahavidyalay (525).
