In view of the worldwide COVID-19 crisis, Panjab University has decided to cancel the PU CET 2020 examination. In place of the exam, this year Panjab University will grant admission on merit-basis. Candidates seeking admission have to fill the admission form by October 15.
It should be noted that candidates who registered for PU CET 2020 will only be able to apply for admission in Panjab University. Earlier, the University also scrapped other entrance tests which included Panjab University Lateral Engineering Entrance Test (PULEET), Panjab University Migration Engineering Entrance Test (PUMEET), and MBA Entrance Tests.
For merit-based admission, Panjab University will take into consideration the marks scored in graduation and class 12th.

Since the entrance examination has been canceled, the admission to Panjab University will be based on merit, considering the marks secured by the candidates in their previous qualifying examination. The candidates should keep visiting the official website for regular updates.

How to Apply for Panjab University Admission 2020?
Step 1: Visit the official website of the university - Panjab University
Step 2: Select ‘Online Registration’ button
Step 3: Fill in the personal details such as name, phone number, email address and date of birth and register
Step 4: Create your login id and password
Step 5: Login using your credentials
Step 6: Pay the application fees via debit card/ credit card/ NET Banking
Step 7: Upload the required documents and scanned images of the signature.
Panjab University also provides the facility of paying the fees offline. Candidates opting for offline payment should fill the application form online and generate back challan. Submit the application fees in any branch of SBI within 48 hours and use the challan number to fill the rest of the application form.
