Punjab Government Launches Career Portal for Students: Read Full Report Here

Punjab Education Minister Pargat Singh has recently launched a career portal for students of schools and colleges on Monday, November 15, 2021. The portal has been unveiled to offer professional guidance and increase the employment of students in the states. 

Punjab Career Portal aims to offer better employment to students of the states, and find solutions for the unemployment problem of Punjab. The career portal will guide students towards their adequate career and offer them online courses and scholarship opportunities. 

Referring to the initiative of the Punjab Government, Punjab Education Minister Pargat Singh stated that the recently launched career portal will play a significant role in guiding students. The portal will offer students with online courses, scholarships, and vocations.

Adding to the same, the Punjab Government’s official tweet reads, “Education Minister Pargat Singh unveils Punjab Career Portal aimed at professional guidance. 10 lakh students to get info about career counseling, courses, and scholarships sitting at home”.

The courses will be made available to students as a part of educational measures taken by the education department of Punjab. Under this initiative, 10 lakh students will be able to get information regarding career counselling, courses from the comfort of their homes. 

Punjab Education Minister Pargat Singh further stated that the Punjab Career Guidance Portal is now open for students of class 9th to class 12th at https://punjabcareerportal.com/. Students can create their account by entering their student Id, password, and other required details.

Students of the Punjab Education Board who wish to enter the education portal launched by the government can get their student ID details from their respective schools. 

"9th to 12th class students can enter their career dashboard by entering their student ID and password (123456). You can find information about career, colleges, vocational courses, vocational courses, entrance exams and scholarship opportunities" the official portal reads.
