Rajasthan: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Friday, July 07, 2021, has announced that all Rajasthan districts will now have medical facilities. Keeping this goal in mind, the medical infrastructure will now strengthen in various cities and villages of Rajasthan. 

While addressing the virtual event, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot stated that Rajasthan is now moving towards setting up Medical Facilities in every district so that people don't have to travel far during medical emergencies. 

Referring to the initiative of adding Rajasthan Medical Colleges in all districts, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said, "It is a matter of pride for us. It is our endeavor that the medical facilities in the state should be even better"

"For this, medical infrastructure is being strengthened continuously from cities to villages," Gehlot further added in a statement.

During the event, the Chief Minister laid the foundation of intensive care units at 17 hospitals in 11 districts in Rajasthan state. The medical hospitals will now be equipped with all the necessary equipment. 

He further added that the Rajasthan Government is making efforts in order to provide medical colleges in government sectors in 30 districts in the states to encourage medical students.

People from various states are now coming to Rajasthan to take advantage of its excellent medical facilities, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot added.

While addressing the efforts of the CM, Health minister Raghu Sharma added, "We are moving towards achieving the capacity of producing 1,000 metric tonnes of oxygen in the state".
