SAT Exam 2022: The College Board has resigned the exam pattern of the Scholastic Assessment Test, SAT 2022 examination.
The revised SAT 2022 exam pattern will cover a wider variety of topics, will be shorter and will allow calculators to be used for the entire math section.
Recently, the college board announced that its SAT Suite of Assessments will be offered digitally and overseas students will be allowed seven opportunities instead of five.
Even the number of times to attempt the SAT 2022 test has been increased to seven, which means that the SAT aspirants will now have more options when it comes to taking the exam again.

The main objective is to make the SAT exam more accessible to all the students. By offering the opportunity of more options, the aspirants will qualify the SAT exam with better scores. A SAT score ranges from 400-1600 and is used widely for seeking admission to undergraduate programs.
The SAT will be digitally delivered globally in the commencement of the year 2023 and will commence in the US in the year 2024.
The College Board has said that the new format would align with what students are already doing when it comes to digital learning.
The new pattern of the SAT exam will be more secure and provide aspirants with a unique test pattern, which will also prevent them from sharing their answers to other aspirants.
As per the feedback received for the new format, 80% of students found it less stressful. While the new format receives good responses from teachers and administrators.
In today's advanced world, as most of the schools rely on technology to support educational programs, the SATs should also be transitioned to digital level.

The Scholastic Assessment Test, SAT is a standardized test which can be taken by the students applying to undergraduate programs. The SAT test is designed to evaluate the aspirants' written, verbal, and math skills of the candidates.
The SAT exam is also taken by individuals who aspire to pursue their bachelor's degree in a USA college or university.
Before, students who wanted to take the SAT subject tests were eligible to get admission to certain courses. However, the students no longer need to take the SAT subject tests to get admission to certain courses as the College Board doesn't accept the SAT subject tests.
