SAU, Delhi PG & PhD Admission 2023 Open; Apply Till March 31

New Delhi: South Asian University (SAU) has begun the application process for admission to the PG & PhD programme for the academic session 2023-24. Interested candidates can enroll for admission by submitting an online application form through the official portal, @http://www.sau.int/.
SAU offers Masters and Ph.D. degrees in seven fields, including Economics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, International Studies, Sociology, and Legal Studies.

Candidates seeking to enroll for post-graduate and PhD courses must submit their applications till March 31, 2023. SAU PG Admissions will be done based on the Entrance Test conducted by the University and admission to the Ph.D. program will be based on entrance test scores followed by personal interview.

The Master’s degree is offered as a full-time program for a duration of two years and has 30 seats per course. Whereas the PhD programme is a three-year full-time programme, which has four seats per specialization.

SAU PG & PhD Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria

The university offers MA, MSc and LLM Courses at PG level. In order to enrol for admission to the SAU PG & PhD programme will have to meet the requisite eligibility criteria.

PG Courses:

• Candidates must have a valid three-year (10+2+3-year) Bachelor’s degree with the minimum required percentage (50% for M.A. & LL.M and 55% for M.Sc.)
• Candidates who have a four-year Bachelor’s degree/ a 2-year Bachelor’s degree must have also cleared the first year of the Master’s program are also eligible.

PhD Courses:

• Candidates must hold a master’s degree in the relevant field with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate or an equivalent grade
• 50% of seats in Ph.D. programs are reserved for Indian students.

SAU PG & PhD Admission 2023: Selection 

• Candidate's selection to the PG programmes will be based on merit obtained in the entrance exam conducted by the university

• Similarly, candidate's selection to PhD programme will be on the basis of Entrance exam and personal interview.

Step 1: Visit the official SAU application portal @http://www.sau.int/.

Step 2: On the homepage, navigate to the registration window and register yourself after filling the required details.

Step 3: Now, use your registration credentials to login and fill all the details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee, preview the form and submit it accordingly.

Step 5: Take a print out of the form and save it for all your future references.
