Shiv Nadar University UG Admission 2023 Open; Last Date to Apply is March 31

New Delhi: Shiv Nadar University (SNU) has begun the application process for undergraduate degree courses for the academic session 2023-24. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, @snu.edu.in, by March 31, 2023. 

Shiv Nadar University (SNU) offers a gamut of UG and PG courses in multiple streams, such as Engineering, Natural Sciences, Management, and Humanities & Social Sciences Candidates seeking admission to the programme can submit their applications till March 31, 2023. 

Candidate's admission to the UG courses will be primarily based on the entrance exam conducted by the university. However, admissions to the flagship BTech program is done on the basis of scores at the Shiv Nadar University Scholastic Aptitude Test (SNUSAT) and Academic Proficiency Test (APT).

The university offers B.Tech, B.Sc, BA and BMS courses in various specialisations at UG Level.

Shiv Nadar University UG Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have passed class 10+2 from a recognized state board as the minimum eligibility criteria for admission to all the UG courses. 
• They must ensure the minimum percentage of marks required with respect to the board from which they have passed class XII examination.

Shiv Nadar University UG Admission 2023: Selection Process

• Candidates' selection to the UG courses will be done considering the merit obtained in the class 10+2/ JEE Score+ SNUSAT & APT. 
• A three-step selection process is conducted to offer admission in all the UG courses. 
• Final admission is based on the composite scores of these components:

• Marks obtained in class 10+2 (aggregate percentage is different for different boards)
• Candidate's performance in SNUSAT and APT. 
• Candidates with a desired JEE Main score are also eligible to apply for B.Tech. 50% weightage will be given to the marks in 10+2 or JEE Main and 50% to SNUSAT and APT at the time of final admission. 

Shiv Nadar University UG Admission 2023: How to Apply?

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of Shiv Nadar University @snu.edu.in. 

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee of INR 1200 and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.

Shiv Nadar University UG Admission 2023: SNUSAT & API 

SNUSAT & APT is a three-hour test that is conducted to offer admission in B.Tech, BA, B.Sc and BMS courses. The exam takes place at 100 Pearson VUE test centers located all over India. There's no negative marking for both the tests. 

For the academic session 2023, only the School of Engineering will use both SNUSAT and APT. If candidates are applying to any other School, they are not required to take the APT.

SNUSAT measures the candidate's proficiency in language, ability to apply mind to simple problems, data interpretation, logical and abstract reasoning. While API determines subject knowledge required for specific programs.
