News Title: As per the latest updates, Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Drone Acharya to soon launch various degree and diploma courses in drone technology.
As per SPPU, the collaboration agreement with Drone Acharya in the presence of SPPU Vice-Chancellor Karbhari Kale, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Sanjiv Sonwane, Registrar Prafull Pawar and Director Of Examination and Evaluation Board Mahesh Kakade.
Additionally, the Head of Technology Department Aditya Abhyankar, Head of Innovation Cell Sanjay Dhole, Founder and Managing Director of Drone Acharya Prateek Srivastava and other dignitaries were also present on this occasion.
Speaking at the event, Abhyankar said, “Many opportunities will be available in this subject in the future. Courses will include drone pilot training, drone building, repair and maintenance, data processing, drones for disaster management, use of drones for agricultural planning, coding etc”. He added, “More information regarding the courses will be available on the SPPU technology department website soon”. SPPU VC Karbhari Kale said, “We are looking forward to these new technology-based courses and it will open new avenues and opportunities for students”.
In other initiatives, the Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), Board of Sports and Physical Education has launched a certificate course in yoga for the academic session 2023-24. SPPU Admission for the same was open for all candidates till January 14, 2023.
The course is open for beginners of Yoga who wish to get a proper and extensive understanding of the traditional and scientific aspects. The SPPU course duration is three months and it is offered to interested applicants over the age of 60.
