SPPU Semester Exams 2022: SPPU Plans on Having Offline Exams

New Delhi: Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has chosen to conduct examinations offline for the next semester due to a decrease of Covid-19 instances and the removal of limitations. A detailed schedule of the exams will be declared soon on the official website of the university, @unipune.ac.in.

SPPU has declared that the semester-end test will be held in an offline format for all semester students.

 After listening to various student groups' concerns, the state higher education agency delivered a report to the state government. The decision to organise offline exams from the next semester was made based on this report. This will be SPPU's first offline semester examination since the pandemic began.

SPPU has chosen to conduct examinations offline for the next semester due to a decrease of Covid-19 instances and the removal of limitations. SPPU examination department released the circular on Friday. In June 2022, the tests will start.

Though these will be SPPU's first offline tests since the pandemic began, preliminary preparations have been underway for the past two months, and a full strategy for the offline exams will be developed. 

Since the outbreak, SPPU has held all of its exams online for the past two years. Exams will be taken on-campus now that the state administration has permitted fully vaccinated pupils to return to college and university campuses. 

"All written, oral, and practical exams for all certificate, undergraduate, and postgraduate courses will be held in offline format next semester for all students from first to last year." It would be similar to routine tests that were done previous to the Covid epidemic, and it would take place in June 2022. SPPU examination and assessment department head Mahesh Kakade said, "The exact schedule and timing of the tests will be posted soon on the university website." 

Officials from the SPPU also told reporters that all offline tests will follow COVID-19 safety guidelines. They also admitted that pupils have asked for online tests. However, test administrators have decided that SPPU exams for final semester students will be conducted in an offline mode.
