Admission to the SRM University MBA Program is purely based on the entrance exam. Candidates seeking admission to the MBA program must meet the eligibility criteria listed below: 

• Candidatesmust hold a bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
• CAndidates should have appeared for any one of the nationally recognized entrance tests (CAT/TANCET/MAT/XAT/GMAT/NMAT/CMAT) or SRM Joint Entrance Exam (SRMJEEM).
• Professionals with work experience may also apply for the MBA program if they qualify the above two eligibility criteria.
• Candidates with Diploma and UGC recognised Distance education degrees will have to mandatorily undertake tests conducted by SRMIST and score a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate.

SRM University MBA Admission 2023 Selection Criteria

SRM Institute of Science and Technology follows four stages in the MBA admission procedure: 

Stage 1: Preliminary screening of online application forms for proof of basic educational qualification and work experience (if any).

Stage 2: Minimum cut-off marks in common entrance tests including GMAT/ CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ TANCET/ CMAT/ SRMJEEM/ NMAT).

Stage 3: Psychometric Test.

Stage 4: Group discussion (GD) /Case discussion and Personal Interview (PI) round.
