Techno India University Global Summit for Supply Chain Resilience 2021 will be held on 15th and 16th May. The summit will observe Supply Chain practitioners and researchers sharing their success stories of combating the pandemic crisis.

Techno India University, West Bengal is organising the event to engage in meaningful discourse to explore varied business models that have evolved from traditional setups. As the world is gradually limping towards normalcy despite the fact that COVID still prevails, the summit will bring forth robust ideas of supply chains to the fore.

Techno India University Global Summit for Supply Chain Resilience 2021: Highlights 

The highlights of the Global Summit is YSCIC (Young Supply Chain Innovators Competition) which is slated for 15th and 16th of May, 2021. Researchers and industry professionals are eligible to participate in the competition. Each participant of the summit is required to share the case study of changes brought in the supply chain or related fields during the times of pandemic.

YSCIC, Young Supply Chain Innovators Competition Highlights 

• Eligibility: Students with an age limit of 35 years, along with industry professionals, and researchers are eligible to apply for the competition. 
• Event: The Young Supply Chain Innovators Competition participants will have to present their respected case studies on areas related to supply chain improvements, and related fields during the pandemic period. 
• Award: After the presentation, the participants will be selected for the award as per the jury's decision and will be awarded with three prizes in each category of industry, and academics. 
• Delegation Fee: INR 500 for per participant (for industry delegates).
• Nomination Last Date: April 30, 2021.

Paper Submission 

Those who wish to submit papers are requested to add maximum of 6000 words (excluding references), and follow the paper submission guidelines, which are as follows: 

• Language Preference: Paper should only be in English Language, and have a maximum of 4 keywords. 
• Length: Word count limit is 6000 (maximum). 
• Margin, and Spacing: Margin should be 1 inch, while spacing settings should be 1.5. 
• Title: Title page should contain title, author(s), affiliation, and contact details. 

Paper Submission Last Date: April 30, 2021.

Indian Institute of Material Management (IIMM) and Centre for Research In Materials Management (CRIMM) will co-host the summit. Federation of Small and Medium Industries (FOSMI), ABBS School of Management (ABBSSM), Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI) and Northern University Bangladesh will be the Associates of the summit. 

The main objective of this summit is to provide an opportunity to academicians, young supply chain professionals, industry experts, and researchers from different fields to expose themselves to experiences and knowledge of supply chain management through shared success stories. The event will help their respective organisations to resist any supply chain crisis during the tough times of the pandemic.
