Telangana: Admissions to Eight New Govt. Medical Colleges Will Start Next Year, Says KNRUHS VC


New Delhi: The Vice-Chancellor of the KNRUHS, Dr. B Karunakar Reddy has stated that admission to the eight newly sanctioned government medical colleges in the state will begin from next year. 

Referring to the significant changes in medical education that occurred under the leadership of the Prime Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, he released this information during the 73rd Republic Day on Wednesday. 

During the ceremony held at the administrative building of the KNRUHS, he unfurled the National Flag and gave a speech. Speaking on the occasion, he also said that the Republic Day celebrations were held here for the first time since the construction of the new building. 

Dr. Reddy confirmed that with the Government’s help, the new building of KNRUHS is entirely staffed and managed to collect all the basic amenities. Along with this, the number of seats in all the courses including UG, PG, Super Speciality, has also been increased to an extent. He also said that the university is attempting to introduce new medical-related (allied) courses. 

The transactions are being carried out transparently and all necessary steps are being taken to improve medical education in the state”, he further added, as reported by Telangana Today. 

Some of the other chief dignitaries present in the Republic Day celebration were, Dr. D Praveen Kumar, Controller of Examinations, Dr. Y Malleeshwar, University Rector Dr. T. Venkateshwar Rao, Joint Registrar Dr. D Ramesh Kumar, Deputy Registrar Dr. Ramanujan, others including Dr. Hemant, S Nagarjuna, Dr. Sudhakar Rao and the other university employees.
