UCEED 2021: PwD Candidates to Get Extra Time in Exam; Report at exam center an hour before the exam.

December 21, 2020:  IIT Bombay has issued a notice to give compensatory time to PwD category candidates in UCEED 2021 Exam. Candidates could apply for the extra time till December 24, 2020. However, if they have missed opting for extra time they can still report to exam representative at UCEED Exam Center an hour prior to commencement of exam. Candidates must make sure they carry valid documents and ID Proof with them.

UCEED 2021 is scheduled to be conducted on January 17, 2021 via CBT mode. Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design is a National level entrance examination conducted to provide admission in various B.Des programs.

The compensatory time will be given to those students only who have applied for UCEED 2021 exam under the PwD category. Further the extra time will be awarded if the candidate has applied online for the extra time before December 24, 2020. They can also reach for UCEED exam representative with valid proofs and documents before an hour of the exam.

The candidate needs to keep the below points in mind before applying for the compensatory time;

1. They need to submit the valid PwD certificate in order to avail the compensatory time. Failing to do so, the candidate will not be rolled back to the birth category i.e. GN/Open/OBC-NCL/SC/ST.
2. Compensatory time for Part-A & Part-B is not interchangeable/adjustable. 

After receiving the applications for compensatory time, IIT Bombay will inform the respective exam center one hour before the commencement of UCEED 2021.
