Union Education Minister to Launch BS in Electronic Systems Program at IIT Madras

New Delhi: As per the latest updates, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will launch the Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electronic Systems program at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras campus Today on March 06, 2023.

As per IIT Madras, Education Minister will launch the BE in Electronic Systems program in virtual mode on the campus ground at 11 am on March 06, 2023. Over 17,000 students have already enrolled in the BS program, offered by the Department of Electrical Engineering.

The launch event for BE in Electronic System program will be held in the presence of Professor V Kamakoti, Director of IIT Madras, Pawan Kumar Goenka, Chair and Board of Governors. Professor S Aniruddhan and Professor Boby George will coordinate the course.

This program will be the second edition of BE program launched in Data Science and Applications by IIT Madras. Admission to this program will be offered to students who have completed their class 12th or equivalent qualification from a recognized university.

In addition to this, those who have appeared in class 11th final exams ((with Physics and Mathematics as their subjects of study) and those who are awaiting results for the class 12th board exam are also eligible to apply for the admission process.

IIT Madras BE Program 2023 is open to all students irrespective of age, role, gender, category or geographical location. Under this course, students will have an exit option to leave the program earlier with a foundation-level certificate or diploma degree.

The launch of BS in Electronic Systems program will be streamed live on the official YouTube channel of IIT Madras. The institute will soon release the official admission brochure, course credits, course fee and other related information on the official website at iitm.ac.in.
