New Delhi: The United State Consul General informed that they will assist Kerala in the field of higher education and quality education, with the goal of attracting more international students.
Consul General of the USA Judith Ravin said that the United States will encourage Kerala in its higher education endeavors.
"Kerala is going to focus on the higher education sector in a big way. Centers of Excellence are being set up on various subjects including artificial intelligence and pharmaceuticals. The Chief Minister sought support for the state's move to establish centers of excellence in the higher education sector," said the CMO release.
Admission in Kerala University
According to the press release, 250 global hostels will open this year with monetary help. With this effort, the state seeks to attract international students. Kerala's attempts to promote great education would get scholarly backing, according to the Consul General.
Kerala, according to the Chief Minister, was home to India's first digital university. The Consul General stated that the digital university can work out a relationship with a top US institution.
In several disciplines, Kerala grants 500 Navakeralam Post-Doctoral Fellowships. During the discussion, the Consul General addressed the United States' role in the state's vaccine production unit. In America, a substantial number of Malayalees work in the medical field.
Courses Offered By Kerala University
A facility could be built up in collaboration with the US Embassy in Delhi to provide greater chances, according to the Consul General.
The release from CMO also mentioned that” The Chief Minister also informed the decision to start a Centre for Disease Control in Kerala. The Consul General would explore the possibility of linking this with the CDC in the United States,".
