UPES DAT 2020: Online Application Window Open till October 20; Check Here to Apply

UPES, Dehra Dun will close the application process on October 20, 2020, for the courses B.Des and M.Des. The interested candidates can access the application form from the official website.

UPES Dehra Dun conducts the UPES DAT examination for selecting the candidates for the courses B.Des and M.Des.

As per the rescheduled dates, the UPES DAT exam is to be conducted on October 21, 2020. The changes were made in the dates because of the coronavirus outbreak. It is to be noted that only the updated schedule will be followed from now onwards.

Admit cards will be issued a few days before the examination. The students will be able to download the admit cards from the official website.

B.Des Course Details

B.Des	Bachelor of Design
Duration	4 years
Eligibility criteria (through entrance exams)	If the candidate is applying through an entrance exam, then the candidate must have scored 50% aggregate in SSC and HSC examinations. The candidate must also have 50% in physics, chemistry, and mathematics.
Eligibility criteria (through merit)	If the candidate is applying through the merit in boards, then the candidate should have a minimum of 65% in SSC and HSC. The candidate must also 65% in the subjects physics, chemistry, mathematics /biology.
Entrance exam accepted	UPES DAT, JEE Mains, UCEED merit

M.Des Course Details

M.Des	Master of Design
Duration	2 years
Eligibility Criteria	Candidate should have a graduate degree in B.Tech or BE in any discipline / B.Arch / B.F.A. of 4 years or a 3 years B.Sc in design with 1 year of foundation / B. Des or applied arts with minimum 50% marks. Candidate must have a minimum of 50% for SSC and HSC.

The final selection will take place on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination. The shortlisted students will have to go through an interview and presentation of the work portfolio to get the admission.
