New Delhi: UPES Dehradun is all set to offer upto 100% scholarships based on merit, whereas 50% of the scholarships are reserved for female students.
The scholarship announced by the UPES is applicable to all the students appearing for UPES entrance exams. A total of 2000 scholarships will be offered for the academic year 2022-23 out of which above 50% is reserved for female candidates.

The UPES scholarship will be awarded in the range of 20% to 100% on tuition fees to the top 10% of students who will qualify for the exam with the highest score in UPES entrance exams.
The UPES scholarship will be renewed in the following semesters upon meeting the eligibility criteria.
Apart from the merit scholarship, the university has also announced to offer additional domicile scholarships of 33% to all the students residing in Uttarakhand.
This is the third year of UPES female scholarships under its ‘Shakti’ initiative that aims to promote higher education amongst the female candidates and encourage them to progress from classrooms to boardrooms.
According to the official UPES statement, the university has offered more than 5000 girl scholarships within a duration of three years, from 2020 to 2022.
Also, the varsity has received an exceptional response from female students and their families residing in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Haryana, Maharashtra and Jharkhand in the last two years.
UPES Scholarship 2022: Eligibility Requirements
Students who have applied for admission for UPES courses and have appeared for the UPES entrance exam are eligible for the UPES scholarships.
However, the scholarships shall be awarded only to those students who have complied with the below-defined Scholarship Criteria for the first semester and subsequent renewal, if applicable.
The scholarship will be awarded upto 10% to top students of the UPES Entrance Exam. The university reserves the right to conduct multiple rounds of entrance examination and the merit list of each round will be prepared separately.
However, it is the university's sole discretion, to decide consideration of next in line of top 10 for said Scholarship, in case the top performer does not accept the scholarship for any reason.
UPES Scholarship 2022: Benefits
The scholarship will be awarded in the range of 20% to 100% on tuition fees for the first semester only. The university has prescribed renewal criteria for scholarships to other semesters which includes 8.5 CGPA, passing semester without improvement exams, 75% attendance etc.
