West Bengal Class 12 Board Exam 2022: Revised Schedule to be Released Soon

New Delhi: The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has planned to reschedule the dates for the West Bengal Higher Secondary Examinations, HSE exams 2022. 

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced the revision of the WBCHSE Class 12 Exams 2022 schedule due to a clash with by-elections to Asansol Lok Sabha seat and Ballygunge assembly constituency. The council will soon release the revised examination schedule of WB class 12 exam 2022, on the official website, wbchse.nic.in.

Earlier, the WBCHSE Class 12 exams 2022 were scheduled to be conducted between April 2 and 26, while the by-polls were to be held on April 12 and votes were scheduled to be counted on April 16. 

However, the HS exam which was supposed to conclude on April 26 will now end on April 27 with the Biology paper being the last exam. The West Bengal Board Class 12 exams 2022 will be held for a duration of 3 hours from 10 AM to 1 PM.

WBCHSE Class 12 Exams 2022: Revised Dates

The WB chief minister announced the revised exam schedule for the West Bengal HSE exam 2022 in a press conference, where she said that the first Bengali language test will be held on April 2 and the second language test of Bengali will be conducted on April 4. 

Further, the vocational examination for class 12 will be held on April 5. According to the revised examination schedule, there will be no exam from April 6 to 15 due to by-elections.

This is the second time the WBCHSE exam schedule 2022 has been revised. Earlier, it was rescheduled owing to avoid a clash with JEE Main 2022. 

Now, the WB class 12 exams have been extended by one day due to by-elections in the state. Students must note that the revised date sheet for West Bengal Class 12 Exams 2022 will be soon released on the WBCHSE website @wbchse.nic.in.
