New Delhi: Xavier’s Management Institute (XLRI Jamshedpur) has successfully concluded its final MBA placements for the academic year 2021-22, where the highest package offered was INR 44 Lakhs Per Annum. 


With a total of 144 students in the MBA batch, the XLRI, Jamshedpur witnessed a 100% success rate for the 15-month flagship MBA placements, this year.

The course batch comprised a total of 114 students, out of which 112 MBA graduates opted for the placement drive. The institute recorded the highest pancake being made to a student was ₹44,74,100, whereas the average salary of the top 50% stood at ₹30,04,901.

The MBA students of XLRI came with previous experiences of donning various hats in domains such as Project Management, Product Management, Consulting, Marketing, Software Technologies, and HR from Fortune 500 companies, Big 4's, Unicorns, and other leading organisations. 

The average work experience of these MBA graduates was 6 years and the average age 28 years.

Some of the top-notch companies who hired the students were Accenture, Bain and Co., Deloitte, Ericsson, and Jio, who also happen to emerge as the top 5 recruiters in the XLRI placements 2022. Most of the students bagged lucrative placement offers in the IT sector.

Premier Companies like Microsoft, Boston Consulting Group, and Deutsche Bank also participated in the XLRI recruitment process. The MBA students were employed for multiple roles including Senior Manager, Senior Consultant, Product Manager, Business Portfolio Owner, Global Engagement Manager, Solution Architect, etc. 

Moreover, XLRI's ExPGDM course also recorded a significant increase in the average CTC by 40% and tremendous increase in the median by 41% to ₹ 26.56 LPA and ₹ 26.00 LPA respectively, in the Campus Placement Season, this year. 

Expressing her delight towards the placements, Anam Gwaliori, General Secretary, XLRI, Jamshedpur, said that a significant number of distinguished recruiters offered various roles in Consulting, Product Management, Strategy, Business Development, Program Management, Sales, and other leading business domains which resonated with the aspirations of the XLRI students. 

Along with these most sought-after roles, the MBA graduates were also employed by preeminent companies that are spearheading the wave of ground-breaking technologies such as blockchain and analytics, Gwaliori added.
