How much of a stipend does a Ph.D. student get from Anna University?

SS
Sattvik Sharma Posted On : December 5th, 2022
Studied at Anna University, Tamil Nadu, India

To begin with, Anna University will not provide a stipend to every Ph.D. student. A written exam based on their ME stream will be administered. The top 2-3 scorers on that written exam will receive a stipend of INR 16,000 per month. Aside from this, other scholarships such as Delta Sigma Pi (DSP), FIST, and PURSE should be applied for during the open call. When the time comes, you should present your project.

The JSET scholarship should be applied for before enrolling in the Ph.D. program, which will be based solely on GATE scores. Muslims and Christians are eligible for the Moulana Asad scholarship (Minority Scholarship Scheme). If you are a university topper in your ME program, you can apply for the INSPIRE scholarship.
