It depends on your future goals and interests. If you want to pursue a job afterward then CSE will be the best branch for you. It will give you better opportunities than any other branch. You can choose Mechanical if you are interested in the automobile sector. If you are interested in robotics then the ECE branch would be a better option for you.
The CSE branch is good at Amrita University because the college has various types of technical groups like FOSS. This group is dedicated to creating open-source projects and completing various technical projects like Google's summer code. There are a large number of selects for this kind of project as well. If you are interested in security systems then this college has got the number 1 CTF team. If you are interested in programming then there is a dedicated programming group as well. Is it necessary to buy a laptop for a B.Tech at LNCT Bhopal? Is it allowed for a first year student to keep a laptop for their studies?
One of my cousins graduated from LNCT Bhopal. According to him, the college does not really care if you bring a laptop or not. It is important only if you don't have a computer system at home.
If you're from CSE or IT departments, having a laptop becomes very important, almost necessary.
The laptop is though not mandatory in the classroom, but you should have it for the provision of self-study, projects and to learn and practice new programming languages. Also it is extremely necessary for practicing coding.
There are strict actions taken so that students do not use laptops or cellphones in the classroom. If it is for a class project or research, you might be able to use it then in a classroom. If you plan not to buy a laptop, you can buy a PC for your house.
Can I do a B.E. in an evening college in Karnataka after a diploma from NTTF?
Yes, you can do BE in an evening college in Karnataka after a diploma from NTTF. It will depend on the eligibility criteria of the specific university you are applying for. Anyway, you have two options.
- Option A – You can join any BE course normally which people do after 12th. If you have completed your 12th before you joined the diploma course at NTTF, only then this is possible.
- Option B – You can join the BE course laterally. If NTTF does provide a diploma degree is approved by the AICTE, then you can join the lateral degree program.
So choose one of the options according to the specific eligibility criteria of the institute and university.
Is jee mains is must for selection in btech?
Yes, you will need a valid JEE Main score to apply for B.Tech at GJU. The institute shortlists students based on their JEE scores and the final selection is done through counseling. The counseling is conducted by the Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES).
You need to have passed 10+2 with at least 45% in order to be eligible for admission.
Which one should I join MBA, BE, DU or IIM Sirmaur?

Which will be a better choice, 5 year MTech in IIT Bhubaneswar or 4 year chemical in IIT Hyderabad or aerospace in IIST?
M.Tech from IIT Bhubaneswar makes sense only if you are willing to study more on research-based topics of the subject. It is best if one is looking for a career in Teaching, Researching, etc. to further gain knowledge about the subject and not work in MNCs.
IIT Hyderabad ranks 8th in the Engineering category by NIRF 2020. The number of students who got placed from the Chemical Engineering department in the 2019 placements was 26. The average salary package offered to students with Chemical Engineering is 15 lakhs per annum.
IIST is a space institute under the Department of Space. The students from IIST are recruited as scientists and engineers in the Department of Space facilities and Indian Space Research Organization centers all over India. They receive a starting salary of 10 lakhs per annum.
