LPU as a university does not tolerate any sort of harassment be it their students or staff. They follow strict protocols to ensure that our campus is free from any such activities. Our students are also provided a briefing about how the universities deal with any case of harassment that might get rejected. We have a grievance cell that looks after any grievances that the students may have be it regarding admission, fee payments, exam schedules or any type of sexual or physical harassment. The grievances are addressed within a time frame of seven days of being raised and if the students are not satisfied with the solution they can file a written complaint to the Chairperson of the Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC) within seven days.

Yes, LPU offers transportation services for students residing outside the campus. The transportation facilities are allotted to you on an annual basis if you are addicted as a student to the regular programme for the duration of any regular academic session. 

Since the campus is very large there are bus services that help the staff and students to commute easily around the campus. LPU offers transport for longer routes for the regular students to travel without having any difficulty. You can easily check the LPU website for more details regarding the transportation service provided by them or you can also get help from your seniors to guide you through the same. To obtain your identification card, first, you need to get your photo clicked for the process of biometric ID card and in the meantime you will be provided with a temporary ID card slip. You can collect your ID card from Block 29 of LPU post two to three days of applying. You need to ensure that all the pending fees like the hostel, tuition, food, etc fees are cleared before collecting the ID card.

LPU has a huge library system with eleven branches for the students. The Central Library is the biggest among them. Each of the students of LPU once admitted becomes eligible for accessing the resources. 

• The library has more than 24 lakh books and study materials. You will be able to access any books from 8 AM to 9 PM. The online catalogue can be accessed every day. 
• Through the Digital Library Service, you will be able to access journals, case studies, court cases, conference proceedings and many more. 
• The documentation service is open from 9 AM to 5 PM. 
• You will also be able to access the newspaper clipping service, e-resources, databases, journal content service, referencing service, user awareness programs, etc. 
• The library also provides inter-library loans to the students.

LPU has a well-maintained WIFI infrastructure inside the university campus as well as the hostels. Multiple wifi modems have been installed throughout the campus including every block, hostel, gym, library and any other place you can think of. So, do not worry you will get wifi coverage all over the campus. However, there is some capping on the total consumption of data per week for each student. The bandwidth and quality of the internet may vary from time to time. You will also need to learn about the time-based bandwidth policy. LPU does not restrict personal net service. LPU does not have a strict dress code for the students. You can wear anything according to your preference. However, try to dress up in a way that goes with the spirit of an educational institution. During a professional presentation, you will need to follow the guidelines provided by the University. You will also need to follow the dress code during the soft skills and training classes. LPU expects the students to maintain a proper professional appearance during placement interviews as well. Also, you will be informed beforehand if you dress in a certain way for some of the events such as conferences, workshops, industry visits, etc. Go through the website and you will get a thorough idea of what is expected from you.

Once you withdraw from the LPU admission, your financial aid will be stopped as well. The financial aid scheme applies only to those students who are admitted to LPU and are pursuing any of the courses from LPU. Financial aid is provided to students who belong to the economically weaker section and special category children. If you fall under any of these categories, then you are eligible to apply for the financial aid scheme. Also, you must remember the deadline before which you should apply. There are two categories under which LPU provides financial aid to students, the economically weaker section and the special children category. You will also need to provide some documents during the application for financial aid. Some of them include an annual income certificate, an affidavit signed by the concerned authority, academic documents and an economically weaker section certificate. You will also need to decide which category you fall under. If you fall in the special child category. then the reimbursement is quite different from that of the economically weaker section category. I would recommend you to keep track of the website for further details. Also, remember to apply for financial aid before the deadline as mentioned on the website.

The last date for applying for financial aid at LPU for taking admission in the session 2024-2025 is 31st May 2024. I will suggest you do not wait for the last date and apply as soon as possible.
