According to the general opinion, IMS Ghaziabad is better than IMS Noida. This opinion seems to be right as IMS Noida has a very poor placement scenario with many unplaced students. I will suggest you keep IMS Noida as the last option and target better colleges provided that you have a MAT score of 96+. The two options you can consider before finally choosing IMS Noida are

Most of the time the figures revealed online are misleading and inflated solely for advertisement. You can contact the alumni, mention your area of interest in the job and then enquire about

With relative knowledge about these, you might get a more honest picture. The last option is to re-attempt MAT and score higher than before so that you can target top tier 1 like Great Lakes, SIMSREE, XIME, and BIMTECH Noida which have sound credibility.
Which is better between IMS Ghaziabad and IMS Noida?
When it comes to placement opportunities and student satisfaction, IMS Ghaziabad stands out among universities. During the 2022 placement drive, the university saw an impressive turnout with 115 recruiters participating. The drive was a huge success with 120% of students receiving job offers and 25% of students receiving multiple job offers. With 110 students placed, the average salary received was INR 8.25 LPA, and the highest salary offered was INR 26.17 LPA for domestic roles and INR 18 LPA for international roles. The top 50 students received an average salary of INR 10.25 LPA.
Leading companies like Deloitte, Cvent India, and Gartner visited the campus during the placement drive, making it evident that IMS Ghaziabad is well-regarded by top recruiters. Overall, the university's placement performance is a testament to its commitment to providing its students with the best possible career opportunities.
How is the BCA course at the School of Information Technology in IMS Noida?
The above answer is based on the reviews of my friends who are alumni of IMS Noida and are successful today. It's a very unbiased review and intends no criticism of the institute.
The primary 3 aspects that are the foundation of any college are its students, teachers, and infrastructure. So I will be writing the review based on these aspects only.
Teachers
There is a big difference between being qualified and being a good teacher. While most of the teachers are highly qualified, only a few are good teachers. Some teachers that genuinely care about the students and try their best to bring good results out of their students are
- Sudhir Sir and Nancy Maam
- A very practical Maths teacher Pankaj Sir
- Very emphatic teacher Rashmi Maam
- Barshma Maam who organizes cultural events.
- Apart from these gems most of the teachers are full of ego and lack sympathy. The teachers do not motivate startups, athletes, or extracurricular activities and merely involve themselves in robotic teaching. There is no structured pedagogy and teachers are very lethargic. The syllabus is outdated and all this affects placements largely.
Students
Obviously under the guidance and training of such an average college, the quality of students stoops low. Most of them are lazy and just mug up concepts. But there are a few who want to strive hard but the lack of necessary resources does not let them excel.
Infrastructure
- The computer labs have very old systems and the speed of the internet is extremely poor.
- The classrooms lack ventilation and there are no microphones for lectures.
- The wifi facilities are extremely poor and students hardly have open access despite paying fees for the same
- The toilets are unhygienic and dirty
- The library has a good collection of books the only drawback being no reminder system for renewal of books
All these points are genuine and not based on any official data.
Which one is better, IMS Noida or NDIM Tughlakabad?
My friend is a student at IMS Noida and based on her experience, I have entailed various pros and cons of the institute
Pros
- IMS Noida is one of the premier colleges in Delhi NCR.
- Faculties are very emphatic and guide you throughout
- The pictures of the Institute do justice to the beautiful campus
- IMS placements are pretty decent. The highest salary package offered was 7 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 2.9 LPA. The average salary package offered was 4 LPA. Top recruiters for our course are Amazon, Sony and Deloitte.
- The crowd quality is also better than the previous batches.
Cons
- The regularity of faculties is a big issue as many of them tend to leave the college mid-semester
- No sports culture is promoted
- When compared to the facilities, the fees are not justifiable
- No air-conditioned classrooms
- The exams are scheduled much later than other colleges.
Is a single person room available in the IMS Noida boy’s hostel?
Firstly, IMS Noida does not have its own boys' hostel and is affiliated with Sanskriti Awaas Boys Hostel. This hostel is at a distance of 5-6km from the main campus. Some other highlights of this hostel are
- The overall hostel facility is extremely poor
- The amenities are of substandard quality
- Hard water is provided and causes a lot of problems
- The two-bedroom rooms are decent but the triple bedrooms are average
Overall the poor hostel facilities might hinder your studies and bring down your performance as a whole. So I would recommend you to find PGs or flats in Indrapuram, Ghaziabad.
Which is better for a BCA, IMS Noida or Amity Noida?
Both IMS Noida and Amity Noida are two good colleges for pursuing BCA programs. As per many students, college does not matter much but the potential and knowledge do. One of my friends had studied from Amity and highly recommended it for pursuing a BCA program.
Here are some of the supporting facts :
- Amity has a brand name and ranks at the top among the various private institutions of India.
- Amity has one of the best faculties with vast expertise in all of their domains.
- There is a great need for practical knowledge for pursuing BCA and for that, Amity has great computer labs and it emphasizes much on practical classes.
- The campus has one of the finest infrastructures.
- There is great student diversity. Students from all over the country from varied backgrounds come here.
- The students will enhance their communication skills.
- The college has a great library.

The only disadvantage is that the college takes hefty fees and it is very strict about its attendance policy. If this is not one's concern, then Amity would be a great option.
Should I join HCL as an IMS engineer with 6 LPA in Noida or a government grade 3 job in my home location with 4 LPA?
My advice would be to join the Grade 3 Government job as it will give you an opportunity to study for higher exams. It will also ensure many facilities that come with a government job like job security.
If you join HCL, with a 6 LPA package, the immense work pressure will hinder you from preparing for any further exams. You will have to keep climbing the corporate ladder and the pressure won’t let you prepare for your higher studies.
I want to do BCA but I'm confused which collage to choose IMS Noida is only 6 KM from my home?
Many falsely assume IMS Noida to be a good institute after reading fake reviews and misleading information on the internet. My friend's house was in close proximity to the Institute and thus chose it for graduation. Till date he regrets his decision because there are so many flaws like
- Inexperienced and incompetent faculty
- Management that is after money only
- Constant fees hikes every year
- Sessional exams are not conducted timely and marks are not sent to the university timely
- Unnecessary fine imposed
- Inflated placement statistics
- Corrupted administration
- Poor college life experience
- Unhygienic environment
These reasons are more than enough to convince you from choosing IMS Noida.
