St. Joseph's College (Autonomous), Bengaluru

The electronics department at St. Joseph Pu College, Residency Road is not that great. However, in St. Joseph’s Indian Composite PU College at Vittal Mallya Road, the Electronics department is comparably good. The faculties are doing a good job. Overall, St. Joseph is not a great option for Electronics. It is bast for Commerce and Arts courses.

St. Joseph’s College, Bangalore is a better option. It is among the top B-Schools in Bangalore. The institute gives utmost priority to academics and placements. According to St Joseph’s Bangalore placement highlights the average CTC is INR 4 LPA. Students get recruited by companies like EY, Zomato, Amazon, etc. 

As St. Joseph is located at the center of the city, it is easy to commute to and fro from the college.

Anyone can say when usually when degree admission applications are released in St Josephs University,Banglore?

St. Joseph’s University Bangalore's admission process is completely online and is conducted in three admission cycles starting from February till the end of June. Students who are interested in taking admission to the institution must apply on the official website of the university.

Cycle 1:

St. Joseph’s University Bangalore's Admission 2024 is ongoing under admission cycle 1 conducted from February to April. The deadline to apply for most undergraduate degree courses is in February and the applications for postgraduate courses are open till April. 

Cycle 2:

The admission cycle 2 of St. Joseph’s University Bangalore is from April to May wherein the last date to apply for UG courses is April 10, 2024 and the deadline for PG courses is May 09, 2024.

Cycle 3:

This is the final phase of admission held from May to June. The deadline to apply for UG courses under this phase is May 09, 2024 and the applicants of PG courses can apply till June 08, 2024.

Note: The university conducts Ph.D. admission process in December for January intake consisting of an entrance test and an interview round. The final merit list will be available on the official website.

Some of the UG courses offered by St. Joseph’s University are B.Com, BBA, BA, B.Sc, BCA, B.Voc, and BSW. The PG courses available in the institute include M.Com, M.Sc, MA, MSW and MCA.

The application fee for St. Joseph’s University UG courses is INR 800. The registration fee for PG, PG Diploma and Ph.D. programmes at St. Joseph University is INR 1000. The university conducts an entrance called St. Joseph’s University Entrance Test (SJUET) for admission in different programmes. Students applying through an entrance test have to pay INR 200 extra in addition to the application fee prescribed. If a candidate wants to edit the application form, a fine of INR 50 will be charged.

The date and time of the entrance test will be published on the admit card and the entrance tests are scheduled three days after the last date to apply. For example, the last date to apply for MA English is April 10, 2024 then the entrance test will be held on April 13, 2024.

To apply for admission to undergraduate courses, the candidate must have cleared the Class XII examination and should have updated the scores obtained in the St. Joseph’s University application form.

SJUET will be conducted on campus for Indian applicants. The foreign candidates will be screened by associated schools or departments. However, the School of Communication and Media Studies will conduct an online entrance test for international students. Candidates can also apply for more than one programme. The university will make arrangements so that the student can attempt both entrance tests on the same day with a half-hour break.
