If you are interested in CSE, then going to Amrita University’s Amritapuri campus will be better. Here is why.
If you are into competitive programming, Amrita has an ICPC and programming club, which has produced students to the world finals too. It has produced some of the best coders from India namely, Sai Vigneshwar, Aswin Krish, Sandeep Kumar Roy, and many more.

Amrita University is a deemed university whereas SSN is an autonomous institute in Chennai, affiliated with Anna University. I have friends in both universities and according to their first-hand experience, Amrita has a slight edge over SSN. While both colleges offer good quality education, here are some reasons why you should prefer Amrita University.
Overall, both the colleges are great in terms of education and facilities. However, Amrita University is the best choice when it comes to TNEA colleges except for Anna University, Guindy. At the end of the day, all that matters is your hard work and passion for the subject.
My brother completed his B.Tech from Amrita University and trust me, getting into top US universities is not an easy job even after trying hard. You need to maintain the following profile to get into MIT or any other top US varsity.
Maintaining such a profile is quite tough especially in universities like Amrita University. It is a fairly new university and has a great Mechanical Dept but the emphasis on research is pretty narrow, mostly limited to Standard research in Robotics and Automobiles. High-level projects and research is not that remarkable as you can achieve in IITs which might help you get into MIT.
Amrita University is a private university with several campuses located across India. The university offers a range of UG and PG programs in various fields, including engineering, medicine, management, and humanities.
To be eligible for admission to Amrita University's engineering programs, you must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. In addition to this, you must also have a valid score in either JEE Main or the Amrita Entrance Examination - Engineering (AEEE).
The cutoff for Amrita University's engineering programs can vary from year to year and can also depend on factors such as the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the examination, and the number of seats available in each program.
Based on the information you have provided, your rank in the entrance examination is 4287, and you are from Telangana. It is difficult to say for sure whether you will get a seat in Amrita University with this rank, as the cutoff ranks can vary from year to year and can also depend on the number of applicants from each state.
However, you can check the previous year's cutoff ranks for Amrita University to get an idea of the admission cutoff for your state and program of interest. You can also visit the official website of Amrita University to check the current year's admission process and eligibility criteria.
In any case, even if you do not get admission to Amrita University, there are several other good engineering colleges in India that you can consider, based on your interests and preferences.
This is really a personal question because if you are confident about yourself and determined enough, then you can certainly repeat another year to crack JEE (Mains) the next year and get into some of the coveted IITs or NITs. Definitely, they will have superior peers, placements, facilities, and many other things.
If however you are unsure of yourself and do not want to repeat another year, then certainly Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (Amrita University) at Ettimadai, Coimbatore will be a good option for pursuing computer science (CS). You could also consider the Amritapuri, Kerala campus of the university which is known better for its CSE program. The reasoning for the same is as follows.
Amrita Institute Coimbatore - Placements:

5 LPA |
Highest CTC |
43 LPA |

Nokia, Oracle India Pvt Ltd, Rober Bosch |
Finally, if you are OK with not getting IITs or some top NITs and can get with that then Amrita University is a good option. If you want more then you can certainly drop another year.
You can go to Amrita University without any doubt. Being a new generation college, people now think differently and do not opt for Government colleges just for their reputation.
A lot of my friends recently graduated from NIT Trichy in CSE while some who graduated from Amrita University are doing quite well.
According to my friend at Amrita, the environment is free and lenient. Furthermore, recently he won the 4th hackathon with his peers (team of 4) and his team was different in all 4 hackathons.

I hope it would be easier to come to a clear conclusion of which college to opt for. Choose Amrita if you aren’t getting your desired branch in IITs, NITs, or BITS. But, if you opt for Amrita University I assure you, you won’t regret it.
One of my cousins studied at Amrita University. According to him, the faculty members at Amrita are really good. Many of them work across different research centers, departments, and multiple campuses. I would clarify that I do not have much knowledge about the faculties at the other mentioned colleges and thus won’t be able to provide any insights.
You should also get engaged with peer groups and other extracurricular activities out of your sheer interest and self-motivation. This plays a very important role as well as provides a lasting impression.
SSN College Chennai is the best option among these. It has a great faculty base. Secondly, it offers good exposure to students. The college is situated on the outskirts of Chennai, so students can easily visit most colleges for cultural programs. It has a good placement record as well. According to the recent placement highlights, SSN College of Engineering average package stays around INR 6.19 LPA.
