Can a student with 50.7% in 12th get into IIFT Delhi after getting 71% in undergraduation, and get a good placement?

Yes, with this score IIFT Delhi will accept you. But it also depends on your undergraduate performance, IIFT entrance exam scores, and qualifications and experience.

IIFT is well-connected to worldwide trade and commercial companies for placements. However, a student's placement possibilities rely on their qualifications, experience, and job search efforts. IIFT's admittance process is quite competitive.

Thus, you should prepare effectively for the entrance exam, have a great résumé and/or work experience, and network with alumni and other field specialists to increase your chances of admission.

This answer will not tell you the exact break-up of $150,000, but rather how much you will take home as savings.

The salary varies slightly depending on the region. Even more, if you reside in West Africa.

  • Expat monthly salary: $1900 (first 12 months), then $2700.
  • Local monthly salary: ($1500-1600) x exchange rate, paid in local currency
  • Monthly hardship allowance: $700-900
  • Annual bonus: $0 to $20,000. It is dependent on how you perform and the performance of your organization.

What job exactly does one do on getting a trading role post-MBA from IIFT Delhi?

SR
Sunidhi Rastogi Posted On : May 23rd, 2023

The job would involve taking care of the whole collection of those goods. Some of the things a typical manager in this position would do include buying the commodity from single or multiple geographical markets, planning its logistics (multi-modal transport and storage), taking care of the customs procedures and paperwork of the different countries involved in buying and transporting the commodity, finding the right buyer for the commodity, managing the payment means, and working on hedging the risk caused by buying and transporting the commodity.

In short, the job would involve Operations/Supply Chain, International Trade, and a little bit of International Finance.

AS
Aditya Sinha Posted On : April 27th, 2023

It depends on the type of position you hope to land after earning your MBA. If you wish to move from an engineering career to a business role, the Full-time degree will make it easier because you will have more recruiting options. An Executive MBA can be a wise decision if you wish to grow in the industry or business you are currently in.

An MBA from IIFT Delhi is a good option after completing a B.Tech from IIT Delhi, but whether to do it or not totally depends on your career goals and aspirations.

IIFT Delhi is a highly reputable B-school in India and it is known for its excellent faculty, diverse student body, and strong industry connections. The school offers a rigorous curriculum that covers various aspects of business, including marketing, finance, operations, and international trade. You will get in contact with a strong and wide alumni network which includes some of the most successful business leaders in India and abroad.

If you are interested in pursuing a career in business, an MBA from IIFT Delhi will provide you with all the necessary skills, knowledge, and network to achieve your goals but if you are more interested in pursuing a technical or engineering-related career, then an MBA will not be the best fit for you, in that case, go for an M. Tech or MS.

So, an MBA from IIFT Delhi can be a good option for you, provided that it aligns with your career aspirations and goals.
