Sharda University is not that strict. It depends upon the individual teachers whether they allow it or not. Although, using an iPad might not be an issue in practical subjects like digital marketing, MIS, etc.

Some of the students use laptops while the teachers are taking classes, and no one says anything. The safest and polite option will be to ask for permission from the teachers to use the iPad for taking notes. Usually, they will allow you to take notes on any electronic gadgets. In some of the classes, you might not need to note down things because the teachers send you the PPTs or PDFs.

Sharda University adopts a “zero-tolerance policy” towards ragging of any form inside or outside of the campus. There is an Anti-ragging Committee to ensure that all the students on the campus are safe from such activities.

Even unofficially, there is very little to almost no ragging on the campus among the students and they generally do not indulge in such activities. But still, you will face your seniors and the initial few days may bring up situations that can escalate further if you do not handle them properly. Some of them might be –

• Acknowledge your seniors if they make eye contact with you. At least give a nod. Otherwise, they may feel disrespectful.
• Do not try to get involved with any local people.
• Build your friend circle as going alone may invite the eyes of the seniors so it is better to be in groups.
• If for some unavoidable circumstances you end up in some bad situation with a local student or any senior, try to solve the matter within yourselves and do not take the matter to the deans, professors, or the committee.

There might be some seniors who might be a little rude. But most of them are friendly and good. It is advisable to keep friendly contact with them and take their advice whenever necessary.

2. They further went on to briefing about the course and the test formats. Moreover, they asked if there was any inconvenience regarding the same.
3. On the whole, the professors at Sharda University were extremely sociable and easy-going.
4. He was acquainted with several of the subjects, particularly Maths, Physics, and EEE.
5. The only new subject to him was the C Language. But, one of the professors helped him to become familiar with the basics of it.
6. He also simultaneously prepared for it with their generous amount of assistance. He afterward became one of the toppers.
