ISB Hyderabad is the better option among the two. It ranks among the top-50 B-Schools in the world.

  • ISB Hyderabad's PGP admits students on the basis of their prior work experience. They expect each candidate to carry at least 2 years of work experience. It is the only flagship program of ISB Hyderabad.
  • All Mohali and Hyderabad campuses demonstrate the same kind of experience. But when it comes to the campus choice, you don’t get to choose it. All of them have the same sort of traits. Placements are campus neutral and happen in one place.
  • The career advancement service department at ISB includes 20+ members who provide the best job opportunities to the students from companies like Microsoft, Facebook, Google, Deloitte, Amazon, etc.
  • The visiting professors come from institutes Duke, Wharton, Kellogg, etc. All the faculties hold a Ph.D. and have their own journals published internationally.

All these factors make ISB one of the best management schools in India.

ISB PGP is the best choice among these. Simply because it is the flagship program of ISB.  Here are some reasons why you should consider ISB PGP.

  • ISB has an international outlook regarding academics. Most of the faculty members are alumni of international institutes like Wharton, MIT, NYU, etc. The institute has student exchange programs as well.
  • ISB boasts of state-of-the-art facilities. Students are offered living accommodations, and access to the sports complex, swimming pool, and other such facilities.
  • It’s true that ISB’s huge batch size increases the competition during placement. But it also offers an excellent peer-learning experience.
  • ISB placements offer good consulting job profiles. If you want to join a consulting firm after graduation, ISB is an excellent option. During 2021 placement drive, most of the job offers were in Consulting profiles - 34%. The CTC offered is in the range of INR 21 LPA to INR 37 LPA.

Note that ISB doesn’t have a fully functional incubation center. So, post-MBA, if you want to pursue entrepreneurship, check the IIMA, or IIMB programs.
