LNCT is not that great to take admission through donation. Although the college is a good private college in the state, you can try better options such as LNCTS which is also an LNCT group college with the same faculty and campus placement opportunity.
However, if you are unable to get admission to LNCTS for some reason, you can go to other private engineering colleges in Bhopal. Some private colleges with comparable placements to LNCT are Thakral, Bansal, Sagar, etc.
In the end, all the Pvt colleges in India are more or less the same in terms of academics. Only the number of companies visiting the campus can vary from campus to campus. Thus, if your focus is academics then you must consider preparing for premier institutes like IITs, NITs, etc.
If you are getting CS at LNCT Bhopal, then you should opt for it.
So, if you have the option, go for LNCT.
The placement record for CSE at LNCT is great. The reason for this is the excellent management of the institute.
Students have been trained ahead of time in CS courses which is a 3-month NextStep course (the best TnP coaching of Bhopal). This attracts a large number of companies to LNCT.
The majority of CSE students at LNCT Bhopal wind up working for one of the several mass recruiting firms such as CTS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, I-GATE, Syntel, and others, who give a package around the 3.2 LPA margin. According to the placement highlights of 2020, the average CTC offered at the institute was in the range of 3-8 LPA. While the highest CTC offered was 27 LPA by Microsoft.
In terms of placements, CSE and IT branches are the best. All other engineering branches suffer in campus placement. However, Chemical Engineering students can sit for IT companies' placement procedure, but they should meet the eligibility criteria as per the job description of the companies.
The placement statistics of the 2020 batch are below.
Minimum Salary | INR 3.3 LPA |
Highest Salary | INR 19.5 LPA |
The top recruiters for the session are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, L&T Infotech, Accenture, Capgemini, and others. All these are for CSE and IT.
Overall, it is better to look for other opportunities outside the college. The placements are not worthy enough.
Both Acropolis Indore and LNCT Bhopal are reputed engineering colleges in Central India. Here are some points to help you decide which college would be better for GATE/startup aspirants:
Acropolis Indore:
LNCT Bhopal:
In terms of GATE preparation, both colleges have experienced faculty and provide students with the necessary resources to prepare for the exam. However, if you are interested in startups, Acropolis Indore might be a better choice as it has a more established entrepreneurship development cell.
On the other hand, if you are interested in mechanical or civil engineering, LNCT Bhopal might be a better choice.
In conclusion, both Acropolis Indore and LNCT Bhopal are good options for GATE/startup aspirants. The choice ultimately depends on your preferences and interests. You should consider factors such as the reputation of the college, the availability of resources for GATE preparation and startup support, and your field of interest while making your decision.
They will mostly give you classroom lectures throughout the course. Because management is unconcerned about market requirements. Otherwise, the available infra is adequate for pursuing an MCA program.
Advantages:
Drawbacks:
Overall, LNCT is a decent option for an MCA.
It is not an easy task but it is definitely possible to switch your branch in the 2nd year but there are certain conditions you need to fulfill:
There is, however, an unsaid rule, if you wish to apply to a more intense branch-like CSE from a Mechanical, your request may not go through at all. However, if it is from a less intensive branch to a similar branch, based on your academic performance they will consider your request.
Moreover, the procedure would involve getting permission from your HOD to make sure you have a great class performance, if not, at least a decent reputation in the batch. They would not consider requests from the troublemakers of the batch.
So, if you think you might want to switch later after the first year, do keep this in mind, it might help.
Both institutes are the same regardless of the branches. The same package of 3-4 LPA is offered at LNCT Bhopal and Vaishnav Indore.
Check the following points before making a decision:
You should go for CSE at LNCT Bhopal as it is more recognized and reputable. If you are interested in Data Analytics, then you can choose it as a specialization in plain CSE.
According to some of the reviews online, LNCT is regarded as one of Bhopal's top colleges, but Banasthali is Asia's finest institute.
Categories | B.Tech at Banasthali University |
Course Fee | 4.01 lakh |
Highest CTC | 12-20 LPA |
Average CTC | 4-6 LPA |
Recruiting Companies | Cisco, Flipkart, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, etc. |
I would simply advise you to take your time and determine which branch you want to pursue before proceeding and then making any decision. LNTC’s performance is something I am not familiar with.
One of my former teachers used to be a student of LNCT Bhopal and in her opinion, the institute has one of the best placement records in Central India as the students often get offers from giants such as Cognizant, CSC, Wipro, Infogain, TCS, etc.
If you want to start your career in IT then LNCT Bhopal will be an excellent choice. It will open a plethora of opportunities for you and a lot of the students got placed in more than one company.
However, if your aim is to have a career that is more research-oriented after your graduation then you will only be able to pursue your goals in government institutions.
The highest package offered to the students of LNCT was by Microsoft this year. It was a package of INR 27 LPA.
The latest placement record of JUET Guna showed that the highest package offered was by Gojek. INR 28 LPA was offered.
