As one of my friends studied at NIT Jalandhar, I can tell you his experiences with the college. According to him, NIT Jalandhar is far better than NIT Goa or UPTU College, especially the CSE branch. 

• The college is well established and has been earning a name for many years when compared to NIT Goa or UPTU College. 
• There is proper equipment available for the students of the CSE branch along with the other facilities. 
• Also, NIT Jalandhar has created a proper environment for all the students that can lead to their constant growth.
• NIT Jalandhar offers decent placement offers to students in various prestigious companies.

Last but not least we can say that NIT Jalandhar along with its appealing infrastructure provides very attractive opportunities to all the students for their holistic development. So when compared to NIT Goa or UPTU College, always choose NIT Jalandhar.

The IT courses at IIIT Allahabad are top-notch unlike CSE at BITS, Pilani’s. As CSE and IT are different courses and since you say that college doesn't matter to you it comes down to choosing between the subjects. IIEST Shibpur is doing great too in its infrastructure; placements and alumni base. The CST department has done great in the field of placements with 90% student placements in IIEST Shibpur. The highest was about 48 LPA from DirectI and the average package was around 8 LPA.

In short CSE deals with the scientific study of computers and its research applications but IT deals with the industrial applications of the same science.

With the above information, I hope it will help you in clearing your point of view to opt between the colleges eventually.

I would suggest that you opt for Galgotia Engineering College. As per the experience of a few of my friends who are currently enrolled in one of the courses at the institution offers good campus life, infrastructure, facilities, fee structure, and an ideal environment for learning. 

In comparison with the other two colleges mentioned in the question, Galgotia College is better for almost every aspect mentioned above. The members of the faculty are well educated with over 10 years of experience in their respective fields.

Going by the above factors I will say Galgotia Engineering College, Noida is better than BIT Patna or Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering, Bangalore. 

KJ Somaiya has better placements and better infrastructure for Computer Engineering as compared to Shah and Anchor. Given below is a brief insight into the CS programs offered by these two institutes.

KJ Somaiya:

KJ Somaiya is among the well-reputed engineering colleges in Mumbai. The computer and IT department are one of the best departments in KJ Somaiya.

• Admission: The eligibility criteria for pursuing computer engineering is a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects. The candidates must have valid scores in MHT-CET or JEE Main examinations. The course fee is 11.44 lakhs per year.

• Placements: KJ Somaiya has a dedicated placement department that conducts pre-placement talks and training. Every year, around 80% of the students get placements from the on-campus drive. The salary packages range from 7 LPA to 13 LPA. The top esteemed recruiters of KJ Somaiya are TCS, Cisco, Deloitte, Infosys, Microsoft, IBM, Blue Star, Barclays, Oracle, Accenture, Godrej, Capgemini, etc.

Shah and Anchor:

Shah and Anchor is affiliated to the University of Mumbai and approved by AICTE, New Delhi.

• Admission: The eligibility criteria for admission are 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks. The candidates must have relevant scores in MHT-CET or JEE Main examinations. The course fees required for pursuing Computer Engineering in this institute is 1.27 lakhs per annum.

• Placements: The placements at Shah and Anchor are excellent. More than 80 companies visit the campus. The average CTC offered is around 5.5 LPA. Top recruiters at the institute are Tech Mahindra, Godrej, L&T, TCS, Amdocs, Diebold, Vistar, Minecraft, Infosys, Oracle, JIO, Capgemini, etc.

ITM University is one of the emerging top private universities in the country. You might think that this is answer biased but personally I have no associations with any of these universities.

ITM University has grown tremendously in the last 6 years. The guests that the University invites in the convocation ceremony are no ordinary people but an alumnus at the university and you will be surprised to see the names. Here are a few names of the alumni:

• Rajat Sharma
• Yuvraj Singh
• Shri Ashok Vajpeyi
• Padmashri Govind Nihalani

Now, let us look at the comparison between the VIT University, Vellore CSE, and ITM University, Gwalior CSE.

• VIT is much older than ITM and thus, VIT outshines in case of reputation and facilities. The intake for CSE at VIT Vellore is 1200 but at ITM Gwalior, it is just 120.
• The infrastructure at VIT Vellore is much better than the infrastructure at ITM Gwalior. In fact, the infrastructure of VIT Vellore is one of the finest among all the colleges in the country.
• The fee at VIT Vellore is approximately 15 lakhs (hostel fee included) if you get selected through VITEEE (the entrance exam conducted by VIT). But if you go through the management quota or category system, you will have to pay a hefty amount of Rs. 30 lakhs, approximately. The fee at ITM Gwalior is Rs. 9 lakhs for 4 years (hostel fee included).
• Faculties are good at both institutions. There are faculties for M.tech and Ph.D. in both institutions.

Do not join VIT Vellore through management quota paying such a large amount, join only if you make it via entrance exam because it will not be beneficial.

ITM Gwalior provides you with good opportunities at a much lesser fee.

There is no surety about JIIT Noida, but- BIET JHANSI is a government college and ranks at 3 in UPTU. It has a very large campus with all facilities and placements are also good. While JIIT is a private institute. So, there is no comparison between BIET and JIIT. As we know that there are a number of private colleges in every nook and corner but government colleges are rare.

Here are some highlights of the CS program at BIET Jhansi.

Infrastructure:

On campus, you will have ample resources to enhance your coding skills like free LAN. You can also count on the seniors to provide useful hacks but it does not include the faculty.

Placement:

• At campus, most of the offers are made by TCS. However, you can always opt for off-campus placement. Alumni of this college are even placed in Adobe 
• Placements from college are merely in TCS but you have many options for off-campus placements. Alumni are even placed at Adobe.

Here is a brief overview of the CS program offered by JIIT Noida AND BIET Jhansi. 

Hence, looking at the above table, it can be said that JIIT Noida is a way better choice over BIET Jhansi. But CS at BIET Jhansi is only advisable if you love coding. Otherwise, there’s a high chance that you will remain jobless by your final year.

In comparison to BITS Hyderabad’s EEE, NIT Calicut’s CSE, the latter would be considered a better option. However, it is entirely up to you whether you want to pursue IT jobs or electrical hardware jobs. 

• The NIT Calicut CSE batch had a 100% placement record. 
• They were offered the highest salary package of 40 LPA.
• The department of computer science is regarded as one of the best in the institute. 
• Many well reputed companies such as Direct I, Morgan Stanley and over a hundred other multinational corporations (MNCs) come to campus for recruitment. 
• When it comes to the overall development of a student NIT Calicut provides a plethora of opportunities during the tech fest TATHVA and the cultural fest RAGAM.

As I am not much familiar with BITS Hyderabad, I am not able to share details about the college. I had some of my friends graduating from NIT Calicut so I was able to share these details. Therefore, I believe CSE from NIT Calicut is the better option. You can interact with ex-students of BITS Hyderabad to get a proper overview of the college.
