Is a 7.8 GPA eligible for IIIT Nuzvid?

The required GPA for IIIT Nuzvid stays around 9.7+. The GPA requirement for SC/ST category students is around 9.5. So, the possibility of getting admission to the institute with a 7.8 GPA is slim.
