Due to COVID, IMT Ghaziabad made its selection process online. The selection process doesn’t include the GD round. For 2021, the interviews were taken over Zoom. It was neatly organized and every student was given a panel number and slot number. The interview duration is 15-20 minutes. The interview panel consists of two professors. The interview questions usually revolve around academics, past work experience, current affairs, etc.

IMT Ghaziabad follows a slightly different procedure for admitting students. Instead of doing a traditional Group Discussion (GD) followed by a Personal Interview (PI), it completes a three-tier assessment of an individual.

Critical Thinking (CT) - A task a topic will be provided to you and you have to write an essay using your critical thinking abilities.
Group Exercise (GE) - It is different from a group discussion in the sense that you have to show team spirit as well as individual skills while doing some fun activities.
Personal Interview (PI)

They schedule the CT first followed by GE with the PI at last.
