Both, Bharati Vidyapeeth Delhi and IIT Bhubaneswar are good institutes. Given below is a comparison of these two institutes depending on various factors.

Academics and Infrastructure: IIT Bhubaneswar consists of seven schools, i.e. school of basic science, School of Earth, Ocean and Climate Sciences, School of Electrical Sciences, School of Humanities, Social Sciences and Management, School of Infrastructure, School of Mechanical Sciences and School of Minerals, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering. The professors are profoundly knowledgeable and have years of experience. The campus is built at the foot of Barunei hill, so a lush green environment surrounds it. Comparatively, Bharati Vidyapeeth is an older institute and has a smaller campus with less chance for expansion. The professors have been heard to be excellent and knowledgeable in their field.

Brand Name: In terms of brand name, an IIT tag always has a heavy weightage compared to any other name.

Societies: IIT Bhubaneswar has multiple societies to encourage extra co-curricular activities, namely RISC, Neuromancers,  CLIX, Fine Arts, Fourth Wall, Cinematics, etc. Also, in addition to their annual cultural and technological fests, they organize an E-summit to encourage entrepreneurship ideas.  In comparison, Bharati Vidyapeeth Delhi also has 15 committees to promote future leaders like ACM, IEEE, Google Developers Group, Microsoft technical group, and more. So, they offer equivalent opportunities in the form of extra co-curricular activities.

Placements: Bharati Vidyapeeth Delhi has decent placements for the CSE department. The average is around 5-7 lakhs, but it is lower for other CORE departments in comparison to the computer science department. In contrast, IIT Bhubaneswar offers an average placement of 11-12 lakhs per annum.
