Which is the better choice for a CSE, ISM Dhanbad, IIT Bhubaneswar or IIT Gandhinagar ?

All three institutes are new IITs formed in 2008, while the ISM is an older institute compared to the other two which became an IIT recently. According to the 2019 NIRF ranking the ISM stands at AIR 15, IIT BBS ranked 17, and IIT GN grabbed AIR 24. These institutes do not differ much in their rakings, and they are progressing well. So you need to compare these institutes based on various factors while making a choice. 

1. As per the cutoff, IIT Gandhinagar is ahead of IIT Dhanbad and IIT BBS.
2. The coding culture in IIT BBS and IIT Dhanbad is quite decent but as IIT Bombay is the mentor IIT GN, the coding culture in this institute is better than the other two IITs.
3. Placement for CSE at all of the mentioned IITs has been quite good with IIT GN leading since it has a very good intern and research trend.
4. ISM being the oldest institute conducts more cultural clubs and events. Also, it has a vast and strong alumni network.
5. Among all the IITs, IIT-Gn has the best faculties. Along with many student exchange/ research programmers in foreign universities, this institute offers a good research culture.
6. Also being established recently, IIT BBS and IIT GN have well-designed courses that incorporate industry need.

So, you can choose according to your convenience by considering all the factors.
