Should I join Manipal University Jaipur (CSE) or Chandigarh University (CSE) of LPU (CSE)?

Manipal University Jaipur was ranked 54th for Engineering by India Today 2020. Chandigarh University(CU) is a NAAC ‘A+’ graded university which is AICTE and UGC approved. CU is the Limca Book of Record holder for the highest number of placements during 2017 and was ranked 28th for Engineering by Times 2020. LPU has been awarded ‘Best Private University’ by ASSOCHAM 2017. LPU is also ranked 87th for Engineering by NIRF 2020.

Admission:

Manipal University and LPU offer BTech courses for CSE. Whereas, CU offers a BE program for the same.

• Admission to B.Tech CSE programs at CU, Manipal University, and LPU is done through scores obtained at JEE Main/JEE Advanced entrance test.

• Alternatively, students can appear for the MET test and LPUNEST for entry into B. Tech programs at Manipal University and LPU.

• The total fees for CSE at LPU are 6.27 lakh, at CU is 6.40 and at Manipal University Jaipur it is 11.86 lakh.

• CSE labs at Manipal University are equipped with NVIDIA graphic card and Param Shavak(supercomputer) of CDAC, Pune. The department has 34 industry collaborations, offering scholarships of about 16lakhs, with faculty members who are Ph.D. holders.

• CSE department at CU has the highest number of Industry-sponsored labs such as Microsoft Innovation Centre, IBM Software Lab, Virtusa Robotics & Automation Center, and HP center of excellence. The course modules follow the CBCS system.
