BVUCOE is a part of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University and has no other affiliations to Pune University or BVCOE.

The sections on which the college must be determined are as follows:

  1. Academics- The content of the curriculum is similar to the other two-tier colleges. Emphasis majorly lies on theory and not on practical knowledge. The creative individuals have to try on their own to innovate.
  2. Faculty- There are experienced faculty for the departments like Mechanical, Production, Chemical, and Electrical. The other faculty members are quite young who have graduated recently. This can prove as a barrier for the students on their scope of learning.
  3. Infrastructure- The university boasts of a green campus spread over an area of 200 acres. However, the campus lacks basic amenities like an auditorium and modern practical research labs.
  4. Fees- The annual fee is INR 1.2 lakhs. The examination fees are charged separately which costs around INR 20,000/- per year. If other expenses of a student are added, then it costs around INR 8 lakhs for 4 years.
  5. Placements- The placement chances are higher if a student graduates in CSE or IT rather than other branches. The average package lies between INR 3-3.5 LPA.

  1. Grading System- Scoring marks are hard in this college. Although there was a switch from percentage to CGPA system, students have to earn their marks.
  2. Exposure/Crowd- Major population is from the North. Pune being a cosmopolitan city does not prove to be a problem for food. Students can socialize via fests, social clubs, and other events.

It is a reasonable college to graduate from. The opportunities are higher in comparison to other private colleges but otherwise, there is no difference.
