No, LPU is not a deemed university. It is recognized by UGC as a private university. I would also like to point out that NAAC has graded LPU with A++ status with a score of 3.68 out of 4. LPU is considered the leading private university in India. Each year, many students from all across the country try to secure seats at this college.

I would also like to mention that LPU is also accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and the Council of Architecture (COA) and National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The National Agricultural Education Board of ICAR has also accredited some of the agriculture related courses at LPU. These courses include MSc Agriculture (Agronomy), MSc Agriculture Horticulture (Fruit Science), MSc Agriculture (Genetics and Plant Breeding) and BSc (Hons.) Agriculture. Furthermore, LPU is also accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs.
