As a current BTech student at IET Lucknow, I can assure you the BTech syllabus is updated according to the latest AICTE curriculum and demands of the market. For the first year, the syllabus is common for all the branches. From the second year onwards, you will find specific topics on your specialisation.

The general syllabus for all BTech branches is given below.

BTech General 1st-year syllabus
Engineering Physics/ Engineering Chemistry, Engineering Mathematics-I, Basic Electrical Engineering/ Emerging Domain in Electronics Engineering, Programming for Problem Solving / Fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering & Mechatronics, Engineering Graphics &Design Lab/ Mechanical Workshop Lab, AI For Engineering/ Emerging Technology for Engineering, Engineering Graphics & Design Lab/ Mechanical Workshop Lab, Programming for Problem Solving / English Language Lab
