What is the mode for the IGNOU BEd Entrance Test? Is it held online or offline?

IGNOU BEd Entrance test is a national-level exam conducted by IGNOU to provide admission to its BEd course. Thousands of aspiring students appear in the test every year to get selected. It is conducted in an online computer-based mode by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of IGNOU. 

To be eligible for the test, you must have a bachelor’s/master’s degree with 50% marks. If you have a degree in engineering, then you are required to have 55% marks. Apart from the degree, you have to also fulfil the following requirements. 

• Trained in-service teachers in elementary education. 
• NCTE recognised teacher education program through face-to-face mode.
