How can one apply for IIT Madras PhD admission?

To be admitted to the IIT Madras PhD course, you need to meet the eligibility criteria and also apply for the course following the application process. To be able to meet the eligibility criteria for admission to PhD in IIT Madras you need a master's degree in the relevant subject with at least 60% marks or a total CGPA of 6 out of 10. You will be eligible if you have a bachelor’s degree from IIT with a CGPD of 8 or above. You must also sit for the national-level entrance exams such as NET, GATE, or JRF. To apply to IIT Madras you need to submit the online application form with supporting documents like a research proposal, academic details, and a letter of recommendation if any. The application fee is INR 100. Once you are shortlisted you will be called for an interview either offline or online.
