I feel IIT Bhilai is better than new IITs in terms of infrastructure, research projects, and their focus on sustainability. Although, new IITs have a better NIRF ranking than IIT Bhilai. IIT Bhilai is ranked at 81 spot by NIRF.

IIT Bhilai has advanced labs, including a 3D Printing Lab and well-equipped fabrication labs compared to other newer IITs.
It offers a range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in emerging and interdisciplinary fields.
