Which college is better for EXTC engineering, Thadomal Shahani or Thakur College of Engineering?

Thadomal Shahani College of Engineering is a better option for EXTC Engineering. It offers better facilities and placements. Students of EXTC Engineering are recruited as Technical Engineers, Analyst Juniors, and Business Technology Analysts. According to Thadomal Shahani placements of recent years, EXTC students receive salary packages in the range of INR 4 LPA - 37 LPA.

Thadomal Shahani Engineering College (TSEC) It is ranked 79th among the engineering colleges in Maharashtra by The Week. It is affiliated to the University of Mumbai and recognized by AICTE.

Thakur College of Engineering and Technology (TCET) is affiliated to the University of Mumbai and recognized by AICTE. It has a faculty strength of 179 members. It was ranked 193 by NIRF 2019.

EXTC Engineering or Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering involve the study of the reception of video, microprocessor, analogue communication, digital and analogue integrated circuits and many more.

Admission Requirements - 

  • 50% in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics is the eligibility that students are required to meet to seek admission for EXTC at both the institutes.
  • Final selection is based on the rank obtained in the entrance exam.
  • Which is followed by a counselling session and a personal interview.
