As a branch, ENI has better future prospects than Mechanical. You can choose core or IT placements according to your preference. The strat-up and entrepreneurship culture at BITS is excellent. The institute has a large alumni base. BITS alumni are working in top organizations around the world. As a student of the institute, you can use the alumni network to your advantage.

For ENI, BITS Pilani placements have been excellent over the years. The average CTC for the branch is around INR 20 LPA. The highest CTC goes up to INR 50 LPA. intel and Texas Instrumentals are among the major recruiters.

Since it is a private college. The infrastructure and facilities offered are good. The departmental labs are well-equipped with the latest technology and equipment.

If you dream of an alluring placement package then BITS Pilani ENI is a better option. The average package for ENI is about 13 lakhs. BITS Pilani offers a decent ENI program. The faculties are well qualified and experienced. Although the fee structure at BITS Pilani is whopping considering its a private institute. BITS Pilani offers good infrastructure and hostel facilities. Adding to these BITS also provides a platform for excellent start-ups and entrepreneurship opportunities for new graduates.

The mechanical department of IIT BHU offers well-equipped lab facilities. This department has 15 professors, 16 associate professors, and 5 assistance professors. The placement record of Mechanical Engineering is quite good. According to 2019 placement highlights, a total of 109 students got placed from Mechanical Engineering. The average CTC offered at this IIT was around 8.19 LPA. IIT BHU also offers a great coding culture and students from core engineering branches are allowed to sit for software companies in placements.

In terms of research, IIT BHU has a slightly better ranking than BITS Pilani. You will get an opportunity to pursue your research under the guidance of eminent teaching faculty of the country. Also, if you dream of being a part of a PSU after your graduation, then prefer IIT BHU mechanical over BITS Pilani ENI. ENI has a more alluring demand abroad rather than in India. So, if you want good placements, then go for ENI, else you should opt for mechanical engineering at IIT BHU.
