Which college is better, the Dr. BC Roy Durgapur or the Asansol Engineering College?

I have some close friends from both colleges, so I can provide a satisfactory answer to this question. 

Asansol Engineering College: 

• It is located in the heart of city Asansol. Just like any other private college, the college has a pretty decent infrastructure. 
• The level of teaching is good but at the graduation level, you have to study on your own. The college has a very active placement cell. The result of which is that many students of CS/IT branches get placed in top companies like TCS, IBM, etc. 
• The college provides many modern facilities and labs which will help you in polishing your technical skills.

Dr. BC Roy Engineering College:

• Talking about Dr. BC Roy Engineering College, the infrastructure of the college is better in comparison to Asansol Engineering College. 
• The level of teaching is very average and placements are not so good. 
• However, the college tries its level best to bring companies for placements but the companies are mostly startups that offer minimal packages. 
• The college is located in the outskirts of the city which is very isolated. 
• Also, the WBJEE Cut off is very high for B.C. Roy Engineering College which results in not being a good enough peer group. 
• The shortage of efficient labs will bring hindrance to your studies.

Clearly, Asansol Engineering College is way better than Dr. B.C. Roy College as per the facilities as well as ranking in many reputed magazines and Government of India.
